Happy New You, Boo!

Happy New You, Boo!

I want to thank everyone who came to the New Year’s Eve with the Juke Joint Revue Krewe at the Parkside Lounge! We had a blast, the show sold out, Mark Bokvist’s gumbo was delicious, great success and happiness were enjoyed by all. It was a very prodigious start to a busy year!

Let’s get this year’s festivities started off right this year with some burlesque, some music with the amazing Empire Beats and a whole lotta lame jokes…Thank you, I’ll be here all night…the Juke Joint Revue has moved to the third Thursday of the month and the line ups are looking delicious! Calamity Chang has invited me to host a good number of Room 69’s at Hotel Chantelle and I’ll be sporting a vinyl nun’s habit at Pam Demonium’s Heart Shaped Boxes—a Nirvana tribute show!

The raucous and rowdy Juke Joint Revue is back and revved up for the New You, Boo! Empire Beats is working up lotsa love songs for the New Year. Tonight’s show is Olde Home Week as we bid farewell, but never goodbye, to Coco te Amo. She was the Juke Joint’s first dancer and she will be heading to Savannah all too soon. So of course she will reprise her beautiful “Midnight Train to Georgia” act and we will all cry. Also joining us will be her “Heaux and Hauswives” momma, Grandma Fun and my sweet, sweet Beelzebabe Siren of Sodom regaling us with a routine to Empire Beat’s original tune “Spoiled”. Featuring kittening by Carriage Return, who will dance in February. Along with our beauteous Good Time Gal will be audience favorite, Fancy Feast and womanning the door the adorable Pam Demonium.
